And there she goes! When this one hit, it made the ground rumble. It was loud enough that it got neighbor Dave out of his office and up here to see it.

It was a wonderful tree to have by the yurt ...

... but with 70 feet of rotten top (the lower trunk) bending above the yurt in wind storms ...

... it had to come down. When the winter storms hit we will sleep a little easier this year!
